52 Pick Up...
Challenge #7 by Tracy
It's my turn again so I would like to welcome you to your next challenge in 52 Pick Up We will be doing an OTP (off the page) item
What is an OTP item you ask... Well it is a scrapping project that that is not a layout or card.
Are you doing the challenges on a weekly basis or are you maybe doing them when you find the product or maybe even when you find the time??? Would you like somewhere to store all the challenges in the one place at easy reach??? Then this is the challenge for YOU!!!
This week we are going to make/decorate a journal to keep all the challenges in. Grab yourself a small book from your local cheapie shop. I got an A5 Mont Marte Visual Arts Diary with blank pages for $2, you can use whatever you would like.
I would like you to use two different patterned papers that are more than 2 years old (*) to cover the journal.
I would like you to use some ribbon or lace.
I would like you to add the challenges that have been set so far as well as a piccie of your completed projects to your journal.
I am setting up my journal so as each double page is for one particular challenge, the left side will be the challenge and a picture of the sample, and the right hand page will be a picture of my completed project and any extra notes that I will want to add.
What a great keepsake you will have at the end of this wonderful creative journey.
Decorating the inner pages is completely up to you, you can decorate them or leave them plain, the inner pages are not part of the challenge.
(*) If you are a new scrapper or you are someone that doesn't really have a stash, then I would like you to use some papers that you have had the longest.
I use some of my favorite Chatterbox papers to cover my journal.
I hope you enjoy the challenge ladies, can't wait to see your completed ones _________________

What a great idea Tracy - and a great way to use up a couple of my old papers too! Will pop into the local cheapie shop tomorrow and grab a journal, I've seen some there!
Love your example, BTW! _________________

Cool. Great challenge, Tracy. Will definately be a challenge to get this in in 1 week for this slow (turtle pace) scrapper. Such a great idea though, can't wait to get started. _________________ Karen |

That is beautiful!
And it would be a great reference to have when you're stuck for inspiration.
Great stuff Tracy! _________________ Cheers

Thos epapers are stll some pf my faves too tracy. Love Chatterbox . They are nice, strong, textured papers that are still thin enough for OTP's like this
This look fabulous _________________ Mum of the Feral Four.

Hmmmm Now I just have to ge tthe time to get a journal, and my photos printed..
Tracy.. can I put Black and white pics of my challenges in there just in case I dont have time to get prints of the actual pictures ((My colour printer died, only have my B & W one working. ))
I love Journals, normally I only write in them a few times though This time I have no choice but to keep it for at least a year HEHE _________________ 2010

Another great challenge, but a bit of an *eeeek* for me. Not a big OTP'er so this will definitely be a challenge for me. Is the challenge just to decorate the outside, or do we have to show some of the inside pages too? _________________ Susan
