Santa Photos Album. By Tash Allen

I amazingly have had this album in my stash for over a year now... I finally decided exactly what I wanted to do with it... I have created it as a special place to keep our first 5 years of Santa photos... might have to grab another album for the next 5 years.

The cover...

When covering OTP sections I like to trace around the shape on the reverse side of the PP and cut it out - this allows me to only very roughly sand the edges... I was getting a bit too much paper dust in my lungs the other way. Shocked Just make sure you do this before painting the edges otherwise you'll get pencil marks all over your paintwork (and yes I have learnt this the hard way Rolling Eyes )

I love bright but distressed look of this range of PP - makes me happy.
I love the contrast, something I will definately trying again.

The inside pages...

When journalling this, I tried to add a small piece of information about something the kids were doing in the photos, such as how Leroy had to take Ducky & Teddy in 2007, how Santa won his heart with a lollypop in 2005 and how I have always (and always will - while they allow me too anyway Wink ) dressed them in red tops.

I have added in small photo prints of the 12x12 layouts I have done of these 2 photos - a cute addition.
Why not try that in a project yourself?

This is awesome Tash - love the idea of including a photo of the layouts too!
