October Cybercrop "Challenge 2" The Power of Now

I have recently been reading the Eckhart Tolle book 'The Power of Now'. I've had it for 2 years but never had the time to read it! (how funny is that!)

In it Eckhart says:-

'Every Moment, Hold the Knowing of that Moment'

All too often life passes before us and the little 'Moments' like Chris washing up with his ipod jammed firmly in his ears, Jeremy loving himself sick dressed up for his school disco and Alex oh so happy to see me at the end of the day, well they just pass us by as we pay that bill, fix up that work email and make dinner...

We forget our family is its own little world, moulded together by love and circumstance...

Me? I live in Man Land....

Using Spring colors and recent photos of all the men in my life...I scrapped this...

Ah yes, man land. Where the toiler paper rolls replace themselves and the fridge re-fills itself with beers as if by magic...Where bodily functions become sporting achievements and that pesky green stuff decorating the side of the plate is banned...

How do I survive the exciting roller coaster ride that is man land?

A lot of wine...

For this challenge, I would like you to scrap a recent photo of yourself, any of your family (as ALWAYS furry children count) or your offspring (my how mine have sprung up!)

AND ('cause I love to torture you, and also to recycle...)

You must add something to your layout from your scraps...I used the paper strip from the bottom of my paper, but you can also use packaging, found items....really anything you would normally chuck away when you scrap...and yes, you may alter it in any way you like before you use it...

Upload your layout into the October CyberCrop "Challenge 2" folder in the gallery by Midnight Monday 12th of October.
