Yes Ladies we will be organising this again for you for 2010. Gill has contacted the company and at your request has asked for the SAME driver that you had for the 2009 "Bus Ride"..

I know it is only early, but if we know who is coming, it is a reminder to us, and to those new to the LSBS Retreat experience that we do offer this service to you at a cost (which Gill will advise at a later time).

So here is the list as I know it now:
If you can copy and paste this list if you intend to use this service.. plus post your flight times as well (when you know them)

1. Helen Jolly
2. Lisa Pate
3. Kayla Renee MacAulay
4.
5.
6.
7.
8.
9.
10.

NB: the Bus Service is for PICK UP ON THURSDAY 26th August and return on the SUNDAY 29th. Bus Pick up on Sunday is at 3pm, so it would be good to arrive your flights after 6pm for the way home.

If you are flying in on the Friday, please let us know as we can arrange pick up from one of the local train stations.

Um Ladies.. What time did the bus pick you up this year... it got you to the retreat at just the right time... We start at 4pm, you guys got there at 5.....

If you can organise all your flights together the bus can pick you up earlier to get there at 4...

Chat with yourselves.. lol

I'm guessing that there are shops at the Sydney airport?

yep kayla, lots and lots of shops winking

hmmmmm...... I'll most likely be coming for longer than just the weekend and staying with my friend in West Ryde and my borthers in Chatswood and Randwick, but I will need to get from wherever I am to the retreat and then back again so I guess the best way is to go to the airport???????? unless I can bum a lift somehwere along the line?

Pick Up was at 3pm this year Cath.

Margs was the last flight in, arriving at 2.20pm. I wouldn;t advise arriving any later!!!

There you have it campers... if you want to get to the retreat at around 4.30.. then pick up will need to be around the 2pm mark... Hope this helps Smile

I'll be aiming to arrive around lunchtime again!

Word of advice to those flying in, if you haven't already - sign up for the airline newsletter thingie, that'll keep you up to date with the specials - I found May was a pretty good time to book flights!

I looked last Monday LOL! Yep, it is a little early - good to keep an eye out though & get the best deal possible - I really hope I can get a good deal both ways with Qantas this time - five hours on a Virgin plane is not fun!

Was Virgin bad?

I have only ever flown Jetstar and I have always found them to be good...apart from changing your itinerary so much!

Virgin is probably okay for the shorter flights, but I found them really uncomfortable (my back & neck were sore for two days after!), you have to pay for entertainment & food (I think Jetstar charges you too?), and they had a much smaller plane than what Qantas used for it's Perth-Sydney flight - it took two hours longer on Virgin! Jetstar isn't really an option for me as I'd have to go through Melbourne & it wouldn't work out any cheaper, same with Tiger.

Oh that's no good.
Yeah Jetstar charge for entertaintment and food. It doesn't worry me too much cause I get neither.
I don't fly well so eating is not an option. very sick
but then my flight will be a lot shorter than yours Wink
It takes 50 mins to fly to Melbourne so probably 1 1/2 to Sydney maybe.
